Might attend this on friday but just can't see it making more than 1 table really - how many people are you expecting?

Please could you post the full structure?

Will the event finish on friday I assume?

The £50+£50+£50 tournament on a Friday seemed to be going well so I don't quite know what has prompted the change to a tournament which, as Cos said, will struggle to fill a table.

How many does the £500 get at the Barracuda on Thursdays?

Hi guys,

This is in a similar vein to the Mayfair Maul last year and we had around 20-30 players for it. That said there is a lot on offer friday nights now so we'll have to wait and see. Structure and all information is at www.lpcpoker.com.

The Friday Fifty was a good tournament however this was replaced with the Saturday Showdown in a freezeout structure.

The schedule is as below..... Good luck guys!!!

Lina

Bump... that some of this is on this weekend.

I'll be donating in the Saturday Showdown. Not sure the nos will be great being the first one, and as usual other events clash, but I quite like a 1pm start.

Strangely enough when we ran the friday fight night the busiest was on the first day with 82 runners, so I guess you never know!

According to Ripple by 1pm there were only 5 players registered for today's tournament. They waited until 1.10pm when there were 7 and the tourney was cancelled.

According to Ripple by 1pm there were only 5 players registered for today's tournament. They waited until 1.10pm when there were 7 and the tourney was cancelled.

...and only 4 on Friday, so if the suite has two beds, the deal works perfectly Cheesy

I believe Phil/LPC may be having a rethink for the future, so lets see.
It's certainly not easy to pitch the type/buy ins tournaments right, given the competition in London.....but The Sportsman is a quality dealer dealt venue so lets hope it will be supported.

They might be able to hold the tourneys in one of the suites and wouldn't have to bother with the casino at all.

Changing the schedule and buy-in numbers more often than an RSA security token is probably not a wise move...

Hi All,

Quite a disappointing weekend for numbers with the fight night and saturday showdown however we will be persevering and keeping them on the schedule.

As for the Friday we are bringing back the "Friday 50" this week with the £50, 1 add on and 1 rebuy, or double add-on. 30 min clock, 5,000 stack as usual. This should bring the numbers back in!

As for changing the schedule, we ran the friday fifty from october to december - only from "player feedback" did we put a friday big buy in on - perhaps we should stop listening to player feedback then we wouldn't be changing the schedule! Wink

Anyway we have decided to stick with the Friday Fifty and super stack and put the other games on anyway, just in case people want to play them.

Best,

Lina
