Great news, I hope it works out well for everyone but I do have one small request.

Will you be able to prevent those infernal pop-ups from appearing ?

They tilted me so hard that I unregistered from Wednesday's satellite after the third appearance

Sorry Ralph,

The software is especially configured to suit the younger players.

They don't pop up like that when you're actually at the table Ralph. They're very small and don't interfere at all.

Out of interest, of the options you guys had was the DTD one the most financially appealing or was the fact that you know them and how they do business that swung it for you?

I presume you cant tell us about the other offers you had from other parties?

No I can't disclose other offers. There were other offers though, and about 8 expressions of interest in our "book"  that needed working through.

The fact that we know each other well and we can trust DTD was vital. It appears to me that for players and partners the issue of trust is pretty vital. This is especially true given our experience of the last year and of course there are well documented instances of "trust" issues elsewhere in the Online Poker Industry.

I think as this thread shows there is a general goodwill of blonde members towards us, and I know there is a goodwill to DTD because of the experience they've provided for players ands the battle they had to do that. Put both together, and hopefully we can convert that to a successful venture

When you've actually registered for a tourney in advance and are playing another table on a different network those reminders pop up and take you away from where you are working, well they do to me anyhow.

+1

If there has been one thing I have learnt from this industry and also from your own experiences, is that knowing and trusting the people you work with is worth so much more than the promise of a pot of gold from someone you are not quite sure of.

The partnership makes so much sense, does this mean that we will see more blondepoker type stuff in the club? logos, blonde bashes and the like?

blonde bashes, certainly..but not on my immediate to do list. You could certainly envisage bashes at DTD, multiple events over the weekend, online satellites to the bigger buy-ins etc etc later in 2010. If they ever have a free enough weekend

Congrats on this. Should be good. I actually found blonde when I was searching for info on the DTD live club originally - the Rob Yong diary thread brought me in.

I signed up to the DTD site when the started offering live club buyins through it. I suspect I did not do this through blonde though Sad.

And if future bashes are at DTD I won't be sorry (he says, living 5 miles from the place Smiley).
