Think total profit for the year is around $16-17k which is alright since I've only been full time since April and have pretty much only grinded full time for one month.My roi is around 10-11% I believe,haven't looked at scope for a bit and can't check as at work at the minute.I'm mondonewc on Stars.Cheers.Planning to make SN and then put a big year in doing this next year,see how that goes. |

Thx monda...quick reply..ur roi is excellent....im picturing this as a kind of apprenticeship...the initial wages are poor...but once ur roll is sufficient,then ur yearly wage increases...hats off to ur perseverance n hard work.. .can't b easy...but u seem to have the necessary qualities to see this through...gl again

Well the games will most likely become tougher if anything over the next 12 months,so maybe will be making less $/ph but I hope to be a bit more discplined with the amount of time I put in playing next year than I have this year.I'd say my roi was ok,nobody is getting above 20% anymore like they where say 12-18 months ago.Obviously there are many tougher jobs to do then playing poker,mentally it's pretty draining but apart from that it's a pretty cushy job and adding in the fact I still enjoy it and don't see that going anytime soon then I'd say I'm pretty lucky to be able to do this as a job. |

So I've had a cold for the last few days this being the fourth time I've picked it up,huge sigh.I didn't play yesterday as I felt pretty crappy but I wanted to play today as I don't want to fall to far behind with the SN persuit.I felt alright when I got up this morning so decided to play but after 20 games or so I was really struggling to concentrate and by 40 games I felt like I'd played 10 hours so decided to stop.I was up $100 with 16 games left to play but ran pretty godly so it turned into a pretty sick roi for the day.I'm pretty disappointed about the volume but I'm confident I will definitely make SN just wouldn't really be a good idea to grind if I'm feeling shitty.It probably seems like I'm being lazy but I really do actually want to play,there's nothing really to do in the house except watching stuff on the laptop which I get pretty bored doing very quickly so I'd rather be grinding but like I say it's no good playing if I'm feeling like that.
Games today : 40
Profit today : $402.50
Current bankroll : $2902.50
Cliffs : I've got a little cold and make it seem like pneumonia.

Approximately how many games do you need to play in total to make SN?
Is it worth a lot of extra on top of platinum star to you next year if you make it?
If you don't make it by December do you start again from scratch in January?
