My bro just came back from travelling well he came back like 5 months ago we ended up away for a year and like 4 months I know he had around £15k saved up when he went but I know he ran out of money and ended up working in OZ for 3 months. By the looks of all his pictures he had the time of his life def do it mate especially as you got no ties in UK holding you back.

Abso-bloomin-lutely.

If you get to Vegas at the end with $5k and want to stay in a nice hotel... you can.  If you want to play a WSOP event or shoot craps, you can.  If you want bottle service in Surrender, you can.

If you start in Vegas...welll... Smiley

Overall, would definitely say do it, will be an incredible experience.  I would have thought that taking a laptop and playing a few hours here and there would be a good idea though.  It doesn't have to feel like a grind, just a few short sessions when its pissing down and you cba to go anywhere else.  The extra $$ will come in handy at some point no doubt, and even if not, it would be good to get back here a year later and not be rusty?

I'll definitely be talking a laptop and playing some poker just not planning to grind properly.

Hi Ray

I'm confused

People who take more than 20 seconds to use a cashpoint.

WTF are you doing? Stick the card in, put in your number, Cash, £40, done.

Why are you still pressing buttons - are you trying to hack into MI5?

Finally, you're done. What's that? You now reaching into your purse for another card? GTFO - cashpoints are for people with money. Go be broke somewhere else.

People who take £10 out of a cash machine. FFS. Take more out. That way you won't have to use the thing every 5 minutes.

I did this the other day, only had £10, sorry.

Yet planning 20k round the world trips.

Have you had a bink I don't know about?

LOLz, I've roughly been spending around 2k a month for the last year on "having fun", I cut that down to around £400 a month and in 12 months have 20k, pretty simple. I've never felt the need to save just to be comfortable, I'd rather just spend it. But now I have something worth saving money for so I'll do that.

So I took a sleeping tablet Tuesday night and was asleep by 1am, got up at 7:30 so was pretty happy thinking I'd sorted my body clock out. I went to bed last night around 12:30, got to sleep at 04:30 and was up at 07:30, siggghhhhhhhhhh. I finished work and was home by 1pm but was pretty wrecked and thought about writing the day off. Then around 3 I decided to take a sleeping tablet and sleep until half 8 then I could put a session in. I was asleep by 4 so got around 4 and 1/2 hours sleep but felt pretty drowsy when I woke up. I had a bath and some tea and put a session in just finishing now, went well and shipped just over 4 bi's. Tables weren't hugely better than normal just ran pretty decent and avoided coolers other than AK<<<<<KK. Had a nh vs a fish where I barreled 3 streets overjamming the river with As on K8654 all spade board he called with 88, wiiiiiiiiiii.

Probably be up until around 7 this morning but means I can sleep until late and grind at a better time like I did last week. I got a new charger for my laptop today as I'd hoped that was all that was wrong with it, got no response so either the battery is knackered or the whole thing is, miss not having it quite a lot as I don't want to download anything on this pc so it means I'm stuck watching shity programs on itv player, iplayer or 4od. I'm pop to a computer repair shop that's local in the next few days and see what's wrong with it.

You tried exercising instead of sleeping tables?

Would excercising be better than sleeping if I'd only had 3 hours sleep ?

Surely anyone that has been going to sleep around 6-7am for 4-5 nights in a row getting up around 3pm would then struggle to sleep at 12-1am with needing to be up early the next day ?

Oh man!! Where were you when I was talking to a financial advisor. It's so simple. If you need to save just stop spending.

2k per month 'having fun'?

That's a hell of a lot mate. Are you sure it's that much?

I know you drink a fair bit but you're not a flash balla type so it seems a bit extreme.

Can you break down a typical 2k month for us.

I'm ridic wasteful and spend a lot going out but don't do 2k a month. You sure that's right?

The figure is right, and that's without working out how much extra money I'm losing by going out instead of playing. It isn't all just on drink, I burn money on lots of things.
