Think my first ever game was a stunning Grimsby vs Millwall in the old first division 0-0 on last day of the 93/94 season (when i was 6). But don't really remember that much and don't seem to remember enjoying it too much tbh. I think we only went because my Nan had some spare tickets when we lived there for a while. From this game i was never going to be a Grimsby fan after this and was going to go along my Dads roots of being LEEEEEEEDS.

My first experience that i fully remember was the 1995-96 season. 30th March, as it was a few days after my birthday my Dad got me a ticket and took me to see them, a team he'd supported since he could remember. I was excited but it turned out to be a bad day and we lost 1-0 to a 4th min Graham Kavanagh penalty (always disliked him since). But this was my 1st love for Leeds, and why i have supported Leeds and loved football ever since.

....two truly stunning 1st games, 0-0 and a 1-0 loss.

I can remember which was first out of:

Liverpool 1 Chelsea 3 - pretty sure Wise missed a Pen for Chelsea, and Vinny Jones scored a cracker from 30 yards for them

Wrexham 5 Winsford Utd 2 - Fa Cup '91, round one of the FA cup, next round they beat Telford, round after, Arsenal!

Stirling Albion v Albion Rovers in about 1980. Finished 2-2. Real top quality entertainment. The fans could even swap ends at half-time so they could stay behind the opponent's goal. Both fans were happy about that.

Leicester City v Luton Oct 1974  0-0

Sat at the family stand end with Shilton in goal, Luton wearing orange and only a few scattered memories of it

Next game the following April far better, Leicester 2 Leeds 1, Yorath sent off...midweek and the atmosphere under the lights got me hooked

Can't remember my first game ... would have been a Luton game in the early 70's ... Dad took me and my brother to every home game, we used to stand in the "Bobbers stand" so called because it cost a bob extra to get in there (it had a roof LOL).

I think my brother and I used to spend most of the game running up and down the front of the stand using the plastic bovril cups as a football Cheesy

First ever was apprently Bermuda X1 v Celtic in 1970 - but I was too young to remember it, my Mum took me because Dad was playing.

First I remember was Celtic v Queen of the South in a Scottish Cup tie in January 1982 - Paul McStay's first start IIRC. Wasn't a Celtic supporter before that day - have been ever since.

I can't remember how old I was. Maybe 6/7 and we'd just signed Ruud Gullit so was mega excited.

Was at the Bridge but we didnt even have proper chairs in our stand, just like a row of concrete blocks and it was pretty f cold.

Only problem was it was vs the crazy gang. Dan Petrescu scored an awesome early goal and then Vinnie Jones abs flattened Gullit. He got sent off and Gulliit off injured. Welcome to england Ruud. [  ] Love Vinnie.

We then went on to lose 2-1 against 10 men.

St James park 1973,age 5.
Tony Greens testimonial  -my dad still says he's best player that ever wore black and white-  career ended at 26.

All i can remember is that you got peanuts in a paper bag, strange what sticks in your head.

First away game,Elland road 1983.

Chris waddle scored the only goal, fighting going on before, during and after the game, everything a teenage kid could want, hooked on away games forever.

Hmmm first away game (not sure going to prematch friendlies vs Peterborough really count) was Leicester away in the FA cup at Filbert Street, early 97' think it was the 4th round.

I was interviewed by 90minutes magazine cos I was there like 4 hours early, which I gave some really crap answer to the question about the proposal to go from 3 to 2 relegation spots from the Prem to the 2nd tier. Still got the magazine somewhere and my mates in 6th form took the piss for a good year about it.

We lost 2-1, pretty sure Neil Adams scored a pen for us. He basically never missed, best penalty taker I have ever seen.

Remeber the away stand at Filbert st being a bit of a hole with loads of stantions blocking lines of sight.

After that game, I decided that I was going to travel the country watching Norwich, [ ]shrewd idea [ ] great value for money. I have seen Norwich at over 50 different grounds in England now.
