PaddyPower sole survivors at the start of the day. Last Longest wins €100,000, and presumably the dynamics of play for these guys vis a vis the last longest and the tournament itself are quite complicated.

Would it affect the way you play?

9 Sole Survivors come back to battle it out for a 100k prizefund bonus provided by PaddyPowerPoker. 131 people came to the main event with a chance of this tasty extra for being the last person standing of the PPP qualifiers.

Maurice Whelan from Tralee is on 110k

Barry Donovan from Dublin, living in Dun Lear Co. Louth is on 145,350

Jason Herbert from Scunthorpe, England is on 169,000

Paul Sweeney from Portlaoise is on 48,000

Adrian O’ Donohue from Dundalk is on 19,000

Nelius Foley from Youghal, Co. Cork is on 175,200

Ed Roycroft from Coolock, Co. Dublin, living in Passagewest, Co. Cork is on 85,000.

Robert Sherwood from Manchester, England is on 141.9k

Christopher Dowling from Ballymor, Co. Wicklow is on the feature table with a stack of 158,000

Classic Hand:

Ste King had previously done about 25k to Sean Van Slujis on his right.  This hand, Sean raised the button, Ste shoved his   from the small blind BUT Andy Black woke up with   in the big blind!!  Andy had 52,400 which was just a bit less than Ste.

Here we are PRE FLOP

And here we are POST FLOP:

Sik Sik Sik.  Andy Black obv gutted but took it well and left without a word.  Maybe a few words will come out later.

Pre the Liam Flood double up of AK coup he had taken a big hit with Finland’s Santeri Valikoski being the beneficiary. Flood shoved over the top of a bet from Valikoski on a board of 5-4-6-9, and Valikoski called for a total of 145,700 chips. The man from Finland showed 9-6 for top two-pair, and Flood showed 9-3 for top pair and an open-ended straight draw. No help for Flood on the river, and he takes a big hit that crowns Santeri Valikoski as our new chip leader.

After these two hands Flood has 100,000, below average.

Most of the action as i walk around is pre-flop 3 and 4 betting. Not too many flops.

However as I walked past Sofia Lovgren, which is one of the perks of this job being so able to do, with the action folded to her  in the cut-off she raised to 10,800, the button and small blind got out of the way leaving it up to Ronan Gallagher in the big blind to contest the pot. Gallagher duly made it 27,000, almost before his chips were in the middle Lovgren announced all in. With the action back on him he made a frustrated and agitated fold, leaving him with a stack in the region of 50,000

Nik Persaud up to the heady heights of 200k after a full double up with Kings versus AK of Bartosz Socko.  Not even a sweat for Nik with the case king popping up in the window.

------------------------------------

Eoghan O'dea is OUT in 55th place.  A button raise from matey with Kings, Eoghan in the big blind with  three clubs moves all in and is snap called.  No cheeky Ace on board for the son of Irish legend Donnacha.
