Took £220 odd out of King John's Castle in the place market when he refused to jump away. Crazy stuff. Can't believe anyone wants to back them at shy of 100-1 when they behave like that.

I'm not usually the sentimental type when it comes to racing, but got to be happy for AP, he's the best jockey there's ever been and you could see how much it meant to him.

Yeah I was shouting the horse home and it felt wierd with not being on it even but McCoy deserved it imo.Congrats to him

Didn't win a bean on the national but wouldn't dream of grudging AP a long overdue victory in the race. Even if he never won it he would have been the greatest ever now there is nothing anyone can call into question about him. If SPOTY was a level playing field AP would be long overdue this too.

As long as Rooney doesn't win the World Cup for England, I think he's got a great chance of SPOTY..

Got out of jail here.Was putting bets on for the whole famiily they all backed the winner so i joined in .Got £10 matched at 33's in the morning.Now to waste it all at Kelso races today.

agree!

If a little bitter... had the world each way on the second horse though. Was outclassed though tbf. The winner was full of running.
State of play needs about 15 miles i think, ran well though!
