There's some absolute tunes in this thread, I'm not sure I'd be feeling guilty about some of them.

Anyway, here's my embarrasing offerings

I like the idea of this song, I'm not a religious type but I do think it's an interesting thought

And.......I blame my daughter

Was going to post the Joan Osborne one.  Just couldn't face the wrath of Kin.  Glad you posted the song...and in turn get the wrath.

grrrr @ Joan Osborne..there is no excuse for liking it.

This however could tilt Kin and is genius as well. (Yes, I am going through a Bobby McFerrin phase)

although when first released in the late eighties the guilty pleasures probably has nothing to do with enjoying the song for its musical content and lyrics

Oooops.  Was going to post something else, but now that you bring it up............

Tighty lives the dream performing one of his favourite 'guilty pleasure' tunes live.  Claw did a stint as back up singer.  I just laughed a lot.  Know yer limits and all that.  Simon Cowell will be in touch no doubt.

Ah Wendy James....god i fancied her something rotten. After getting made redundant in the late 80's i had a stint as driver for Addison Lee which was basically posh minicabs...got a call to Notting Hill...out she trots with one of the other members of the band.. the only time i was starstruck...the other dude had to direct me all the way i couldn't concentrate... the illusion was shattered however when she spoke..a bit like the Jennifer Ellison effect... but she was as fit as a butchers dog...

This thread is definitely missing some show tunes - it took a while but I managed to narrow it down to just my favourite four Cheesy

Sorry, but you can't call anything from Moulin Rouge a "guilty pleasure". The Roxanne Tango is superb, and my conscience is clear writing that Smiley.
