Not gonna answer that, on the grounds it'll invoke a serious rub.

The subject, though, fascinates me.

Much as it miffs the poker snobs, signing guys like Audley, Boris, Teddy Sheringham, Shane Warne, da de da is a zillion times more cost-effective for an Online Room, as you well know from your trade connections. It's a GREAT signing by Tilt.

Sponsorship as we know it will soon change very much, as the accountants have worked out that it's all about clicks, acquisition, & conversion. And sod all to do with winning an EPT or whatever.

We all love Jake, & Thewy, etc, but we are the "already converted", we are "mature", in that we already play, it's the poker newbies at the very bottom of the food chain that the Poker Sites are now reaching out for, that's where the earnings scope sits. Expect a lot more Premiership Footballers to get poker deals soon, too. Because of the conversion & migration scope.

PS - What % of Online Poker Revenue comes from micro-limits, (where "Rakeback" is a term most of the players have never heard of) do you reckon? 80%? 90%? 95%? Those are the clients the sites want.

I met Tikay for a coffee a couple of weeks back at a Tesco cafe.  My bad, as I thought it was one of the ones that had a Costa franchise, but it was just a run of the mill bog standard cafe.  He was worried about how it might affect his superstar image being seen in such a place but to give the paparazzi some credit they left him to drink his tea in peace and the clientele showed utmost respect by pretending they didn't recognise him.

FT and stars have huge numbers of mega tabling regs, each raking thousands a month, i would have thought they added up to more than the casual micro stakes players? especially with it being hard for americans to get money on/off the sites, the french being banned and general economic downturn etc

so why not limit the amount of tables you can play at the same time to say 4, keep stakes fairly low and even ban players who consistently take too much money off the site?
