Great Post dik, you understand us perfectly, & it would be a crying shame if you are unable to attend, but there is always the Marriott Lobby, if all else fails. But we still hope & pray you can attend, & I've asked Dave to ask the owner about it.

Fingers xx'd.

Hi Tikay and Blondites,

Although I guess I am a million-to-one shot to get a seat in the tourney on Saturday (but will definitely play on Sunday), I cannot miss the Blonde Bash that will surely be the social event of the year/decade/century. So I am flying back from Austria to attend thumbs up

After chatting with Lord RED-DOG during a L**brokes online tourney the other night, I wouldn't dare miss it.

I have a couple of questions though. If all the "blonde commentary team" (Jen, Tikay, Snoopy, DC, Mrs DC etc.) are playing poker, who will keep the waiting world and blondes across the globe up-to-date with the Live Tourney Report? If somebody brings a laptop along, I will help out if I can. I only have 3 hours of experience from The Vic with Tikay in May though.

Secondly, I met up with His Blondeship in St Kitts a few weeks ago and he was wearing a Blonde logoed zip-up fleece. I am dying to find out where on earth can these superlative fashion accessories be purchased? Please say they will be available on "the big night".

Can't wait to catch up with all of you next weekend.

No need for a lappy, I fixed the computer up in the cardroom with wi-fi internet thumbs up, but I think cardroom magic might be up and running now, so it might be best for someone to bring one just in case. Austria.....? Now that's a real blondite!

Hee hee Grin

Travelling from Austria is a piece of.......errrm... cake, Dik. It's the getting time off during the busy season at work that is the tough bit.

Any requests for Austrian choccy (the best in the world) or Schnapps is welcomed. Although I guess I can't take grog into the Broadway.

Peculiar but true, a fine chocolate delicacy from Salzburg (where I am currently stationed) is something called Mozart Balls (oooh err). I took some to The Vic in the Spring and Tikay munched 'em all. So they must be good.

We had some Mozart Balls on christmas day, they are yummy. Now if you happen to have a box or two with you in Brum you will have lots of friends you never knew you had.

Langboy - excellent news!

We are in discussion with The Broadway with a view to upping capacity, so I am sure there is a very good chance that extra seats will be available, we realy do not want to turn anyone away from our comp if we can help it.

Tighty is sorting everything - almost by default, thank you Tighty - but Monty Burns was due to speak to The Brodweay yesterday about the extra capacity we need, & I will let Tighty know as soon as Monty gets back to me.

dik9 - you are just THE greatest, you have thought of EVERYTHING! I do SO hope you can attend.

Ah Tikay et al,

You are  (Diamonds), all of you.

Feel like I must bring extra chocolates now, for everyone. Grin

Just hope that the customs people at Coventry Airport look favourably upon chocolate smugglers police

Cheers,
Mike

I think all the updaters are playing themselves, so maybe difficult. tikay may start an update during the second level, he'll need to find something to do.

I ubnerstand that dik9 made an arrangement that a computer terminal would be made available to blonde, & I will bring my lappie just in case.

So as soon as someone busts out of the comp, they can start the Live Update, whioever it is. But it's 4/6 it'll be Ironside, 6/4 Red-Dog, 3/1 The Jumper, 5/1 Tighty, & 66/1 me.
