IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to adverse weather conditions UKIPT Galway Main Event will be postponed to Friday 3rd December at 12pm.

As a gesture of goodwill, PokerStars are happy to announce a €10,000 freeroll for all registered players in the Main Event which will take place at 4pm Thursday 2nd December in the main tournament area.

May make the bar then at 11pm.....

Brilliant - no Waterford stopover en route so 45 mins quicker....every cloud and all that and 10 k free money

Feeling suitably pleased I paid over the odds to fly direct from Luton mainly to avoid an extra days holiday - good start to weekend.  Agree with posts, Stars are quality

Somehow turned a 6 hour trip into a 12 hour trip but i'm here staying at the travelodge.  The trip did take Keys victim though as his flight was cancelled.  This event just got a bit softer.

I'm in departures and they have announced 5hr coach from Galway to Waterford if that's gives you any clues Laxie

Managed to turn my 20k starting stack into 2k by level 4......was really out the traps quickly fml.  On the grind, back to 20k at dinner - it is a nice structure. 194 left, ave about 27k Good dinner, quality hotel and brekkie 9-12. Good job stars

Going into day 2 with 70k....a long day with 11 levels, 12pm start 1.20am finish.  Off to get some zzzzs, delighted after the slow start

got up to 116k then got loads of playable hands that i didnt win and managed to chip the hell down to 32k.  didnt play that great fking knackered.  spin up tomorrow tho
