Diary of an Internet Policeman

Mods if this needs to be moved to a different part of the forum or if Tikay wants it deleted, feel free.
I've been pretty crap on my blog lately but as many people have noticed I'm relatively active on the interwebs and everyone is useless with updating their blogs on blonde (particularly the younger guys) I thought I'd start one up.
I'm not going to be using it as a place to be arguing or shitstirring (no, no srsly I won't) but I will be pretty honest about what I think about things, poker & non-.
One reason for Blogging is because I've been on a poker rollercoaster lately.
I came back from Vegas having lost & spent $12kish out there combined (I know that's not loads to some but was to me at the time) to winning $30k ish at cash in a short space of time and then going on an epic tilt weekend - week witnessed in the most part by Monda and Celtic where I lost around $20k of that money & then about $5k more since.

I'm back grinding really small stakes PLO staked until I've got a roll to play myself again.
People might be surprised because of how much I say I love poker but I'm pretty sure I want it to turn into a hobby that I play once in a while for fun rather than something I'm constantly grinding.

There is no better feeling than rocking up in a city for the first time, with nowhere to stay and everything new - so liberating.

As this will be a pseudo well, I have a genuine question.
Do you get a buzz at all when you lose a big amount of money? Im not saying you are crap or a losing player, its just I often hear, many times from the horses mouth, tales of you losing big, playing big games, going on big spin ups and of course staking someone thats about to rob you.
They say the next best thing to playing and winning is playing and losing, you have always struck me as someone who does have a strange acceptance of losing big. You always seem to label yourself a degen, is what im saying making any sense at all?
(This isnt an intervention btw, you seem very level headed outside of the poker/chat box)
