As the image says, this thread will bring you action from the first of three days of this £1,000 buy in NLHE event, from Friday at 2pm
128 runners are currently entered, 28 of these satellite qualifiers from the last two nights at the club, and the event is guaranteed at £200,000
Last year the event was won by DTD regular Wadey Ashraf

This time round, due to the ending of the DTD sponsorship of blonde this is likely (though I hope not) to be the last live update from DTD on blonde, and the last live update on blonde for a while unless a friendly pixie sprinkles some magic beans somewhere into our wallet.
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=50943.0
explains.
I hope very much to make this a special send off, but to do so you can help by reading, posting and supporting this thread. It would be most appreciated.
Lots of regular blonde members are already in the field, and I know they will appreciate the support too.
See you later.

In the meantime, my thanks to DTD, not just for their support in 2010 but throughout blonde's history.
Especially thanks, as far as the updates are concerned, to all the staff who help the updates provide the relevant information...from the TDs updating chip counts, seat draws and finishing positions to Rob, Nick and Simon for allowing us to update and then to get close to the action to take photos and record hands and to the valets for keeping us fed and watered.
Right, that's enough of the BAFTA speeches.
On with the show.....2pm Friday.

Normally I'd keep quiet for fear of a bok, but no chance he'll scoop again so soon.
With that - you can add my +1 to the above.

They were installing a brand new TV table last night. Looked absolutely amazing. Semi-circle, 8 (IIRC) seats, funky lighting, huge thing.
GL to all blondes playing.

Sounds good. Wasn't keen on playing on the old TV table, quite awkward to stack all your chips with the 'card windows'.
(Yes, I know this is a blatant brag post
