And while I'm thinking of films with twists...
Arlington Place The Game
which leads me to another great film in Falling Down...and then the brain goes to Wall Street.

thought Diehard would be higher too -surely better than Dark Knight at the very least.
No - Platoon, Catch me if you can, Avater, Casino (wouldn't expect Rounders tbf), Oceans 11...I guess we could all go on..
Would have thought Casino, wouldn't have a great appeal to the general public, same with Rounders obv, I fell asleep during Oceans 11 and Catch me if you can was 100 x better as a book than a film imo. Can't argue with no1 though. no way i'm buying that you've ever read a book

So we will compile a top 10 by letting everyone have one nomination, no duplicates. When we have, say 40, we will vote, but you can't vote for your own nomination.
I'll start.
Twelve Angry men. (1957 Henry Fonda version)

maybe a wasted nomination as someone else is bound to say it, but:
stand by me

I have put the nominations so far (and will update) on the OP to hopefully avoid duplicates.
