I see another of the big named horses pulled out of the gold cup yesterday - this makes 3 out now.  Perhaps good news for our nag?

Today is kind of a "judgement day" Silo.

All of the entries for this year's Gold Cup have to be declared today, so let's hope the trainer's put him in.

It's now 70 on BF with a, still unattractive lay price of 180. fingers crossed.

Isn't this fun?

its a lottery isnt it.  I wish Id have taken the £2 extra that was available at 210 the other day though.  Still, an entry for the Gold Cup should see me ok Smiley

I put £20 into BF as an experiment, I want to see how big, if at all, I can get it to grow. I only backed it for £2 so not huge but it is now almost a matter of honour not to have to reload and I hope to get it to a size where I can mess about in the World Cup Markets

Good luck with it, its good seeing what you can turn money into.  There's a guy on the BF forum that does stuff like that - mainly on the footy - gets in and lays off only making a small profit most of the time but money is money eh

Well I managed to grab a lay at 70. Only £2 was on offer but that was all I wanted. So a locked in potentail profit of £38 for no risk. What I would like to do is go through the card looking for value and make a few more bets, hopefully with the object of laying them off as the price fluctuates. Anybody got any ideas.

Thanks for the tip Karabiner

No other ideas but The Listener got a mention on 5 Live news the other day when the entries were announced - in the same sentence as Beef or Salmon!
