Slightly interesting hand on table Swain/Mistri.

Barry Drake has open-shoved about 90k UTG+1. It's folded round to the SB Joseph Lucas, who has . He comfortably has Drake covered and only Swain to act behind. I don't know Lucas' thinking on Drake but from general observations, Drake is an older, tight playing gentleman.

What do you do?

insta iso and not even think about it

Anybody else? Or we all agreeing with Guy?

No brainer. Stick it in his eye.

He folded face up.

Drake showed

Jason Herbert in seat 5 shoves all in for 92k

fold round to Paul King in seat 1

Paul dwells, expects that Jason has AQ asks him if he would like a call, the response was yes, bit more thinking time. eventually calls and the card are flipped over

Jason -

Paul -

totally useless  Jason   is sent to the rail in 39th

yes you win. i could not prove it was possible to make 3 final tables on the trot but you effortlessly showed how easy it was to go 19 deepstacks without making day 2.

Kevin Lee is out.

He pushed over the top of a Jerome O'Shea raise with and O'Shea called with - so we were off to the races...

Flop: three clubs

Turn: two spades

River:

A cruel river sends Kevin home, albeit with £600 in his back pocket.

Sunny Mistri appears to have doubled through/taken a chunk off Richard Pearson.

Either way, Mistri is up there as one of the chip leaders and Pearson is grinding <100k.

told you it was coming...

Hugh raises 24k    Basyr Nagshband calls, fold to Michael Shaw who accidently shows 4 5 when he folds.

flop

Hugh bets 34k

Basyr shoves

Hugh calls

Turn , river three diamonds

Basyr's was beaten by Hugh's

and as predicted Hugh gets a much needed double up to about 150k

As I arrived at table Black/Charalambous the Big Charra was raising to 19k, and got one caller in BB Kevin Whelan.

The flop came down Two Clubs and Whelan tanked then shoved! Charra called quickly, as you do with an overpair (albeit ) Whelan groaned, swore and turned over

The turn was the but the river was a cruel, cruel giving Whelan trips and sending the Big Charra to the cash desk to pick up £600.

TD Tom has just informed me that Joseph Lucas has also been knocked out.

Barry Drake has exited the building.

Firstly, he shoved over the top of a Jamie Howells raise. Richard Pearson called all in from the blinds and Howells passed. It was a race and Pearson's 8-8 was good against Drake's A-T.

A-T actually turned out to be his bogey hand as 2 hands later he open shoved for about 4 bigs with A-9 and Todd Swain (who has been card dead and frustrated) re-shoved with the A-T. Swain won the pot after a 2-3-A-Q-5 board.
