Still 25 left, not so much getting tight as getting a bit slower in decision making etc

Holy smokes

Sam Razavi opens, Antonio German calls, Bharat Joshi 3 bets the button and both call

German by far the biggest stack

flop

checked to Joshi who leads, Razavi folds and German calls

turn

check check

river

wet wet wet then

Joshi checks and German bets 60,000 into about 100,000. It represents most of Joshi's stack.

Big decision time

Joshi isn't happy

"I think I have to lay this down" and makes a huge fold of

German shows

He immediately apologises to a crestfallen Joshi for showing and says "look, I wouldn't have been able to do that at any point apart from just before the bubble"

George Hassabis limps UTG

Irian Lightbourne 12,500 UTG+1

Hassabis 35,000

Lightbourne all in for 140,000

CALL!

Hassabis A-A

Lightbourne A-K

Aces hold, and Lightbourne, despite a mightily impressive performance, falls 24th with 22 paid

Bubble time

 well well

Akenhead 12,500

Hassabis 32,500 on the button

Lars Bollhagen all in for 75,000 more in the blinds

Akenhead folds

Hassabis asks for the count, counts out his chips, thinks. Massive crowd around the table

He easily covers Bollhagen, perhaps it is a third of his stack to call

and folds

and he shows. Do not show man. Please do not show. DO NOT SHOW. I repeat this to myself before he does it and on the way back to my chair

DO NOT SHOW.

Opponents now have the

to have a go . By all means pass, but do not show!

There's no need for that sir.  People can play how they wish and don't need to be berated on here for it.
