Verbatim from Frankie (Chippyman) - a message for Mitch.

"Why you worry about people from Blonde Poker on your phone all sitting at home and you are sitting on the final table here....and you ginger. Ginger!! Ginger!!! Ginger" (repeated about four times for effect)

I knew it was too good to be true, all the players going out so fast today.

Nothing is happening. Ronnie and Pete have all the chips and all the game, everyone else seems to be waiting for Christmas.

Open shove fold open shove fold.

However, Simon Trumper has ketp me entertained telling me about his days as a Robert De Niro lookylikey - I'm not even joking. It was back in the day when he had more hair than a Greek man's plug hole.

Juicy pot for Mitch

Pete min raises - again - folds round to Kitridge and Mitch in blinds who both call the 40K.

Flop checked round

Turn

Kitridge check calls Mitch's bet of 60K, Linton folds.

River is the 10d.

Kitridge bets 107K. Mitch makes the call.

Kitridge has rivered a straight with K J but Mitch has caught his flush with

That's the only hand we've had for 18 minutes.

Break time.

Mitch will probably ring you all now to explain why he flatted with the Jack high flush.

Then could someone tell me?

Third hand after the break and we've lost local lad John Kittridge.

Folds round to John on the cutoff and he shoves all in for about 260K.

Mitch makes the call

Ronnie folds on SB, Pete open folds a pair of dueces in the BB.

John has 10h

Mitch has As

Board runs out 2 5 8 3 8 giving Mitch the straight - and would have given pete the boat.

Mitch now on over 900K.

John Kittridge leaves in 8th place, an excellent result for his first big tournament, with £2,263.
