Late comers arriving all the time, and the latest table to open up the back has Zippy Aslam next to Peter the Bandit. Peter's wife follows the updates and tells the less than techno-literate Peter what I say about him. Today's word for Peter, Mrs Evans, is indolent, which is what he is each time I pass

Don't think I have ever seen a nine way limped pot in Level 6 before

I have now

The flop comes 3-4-7 rainbow

Jason Herbert leads for 1,000 into 3,000

Lee Taylor calls

Two other callers

That's thinned the field from 9 to 4 then

turn J

Herbert sticks his last few thousand in and Lee Taylor calls

Player next to Herbert tells him "good luck"

"I don't need luck" says Herbert

He flips 7-7

Taylor though has 5-6

river J and Herbert more than doubles up from a very very short stack to a short stack, on about 12,000 with average 20,000

Mark Bardlsey raises, Darren Farr 3 bets him i n the big blind and Bardsley calls

flop

Farr leads, Bardsley shoves  two hearts and Farr calls with

These are reasonable stacks too, about 20,000 each for a very nice pot

no hearts on turn and river and Farr knocks out Bardsley
