Hi Jim, really? About four years out.!!
Yours still going? It wouldnt be very interesting from me these days.... Not sure "musings of a middle aged amateur" would get the railbird juices flowing, especially when i spend most of my days stuck in an office grinding a crust to cover the mortgage and food bills talking people strategy, resourcing plans and demand forecasts.. Maybe i will resurrect it one day when there is something to tell the world.

Mine ran out of steam about 12months ago..... had a great 2010 but 2011 was hard work poker wise and had a break for a while.  Know what you mean about grinding a crust Smiley  However work have just made me an offer I can't refuse to jump ship in May after 14yrs so having to get my A Game head on again Smiley  I'm in the £500 on Sat so will say hi.  GL

Cool. I am taking severance after five years in September as couldn't refuse either so depending on progress poker wise between then and now I may be freeing some disposable up in time for a end of 2012 run good!

So, wasnt to be. Thanks to all those that staked me, much appreciated!

Had a tough beat early on with AA vs 2-3 to a guy who was playing very loose. I worked my half stack back up to starting stack against the same guy and really had very little opportunities to make chips. I grinded as long as i could and eventually find a spot. Very aggro chap opens from hijack, romanello flats the button as does mad geordie aggro in sb and i look down at  in bb with 18 bbs left and 8 bbs in the middle. I think i am ahead of all players at this stage with a slim chance roberto is in a similar range so i shove expecting 4 folds and roberto reshoves the button to isolate and his AQ holds.
