You're all very welcome.
It's been fun and thank you all for making the competition so easy to run and for taking part in the spirit (I think) that was intended.
It's been very educational.

Thanks again.
For those of you who share my nerdish tendencies, here's a modified top 5:
Tipster Total Score
ChipRich 84.00
SP favourite 78.26
typhoon13 76.38
Alverton 74.67
SP favourite 2 72.61
"SP favourite" would have been the score for anyone who picked the SP favourite to win for each of the 28 races and "SP favourite 2" for anyone who picked an e/w bet on the SP favourite in each race.
Also, if we had actually placed the bets for the nominated stakes (£2 win or £1 e/w) as per our selections we would have wagered £1,624 and been returned £1,193.56 for a loss of £430.44.
Another win for the bookies, then.

VWP Rich, glad to see that the tradition is being maintained.

Brilliant work mate, I can feel an Aintree tipster comp coming on too

Thanks, it's been a lot of fun.
I'm sure I'll be available if my services are required but I don't want to tread on anybody's toes if you already have someone who usually runs these competitions.
