(Sure in this instance he would have lost anyway, unless it was online because a different random card may have been generated depending on the action - just illustrating the point).

Most sites produce their catrds by a randon generator that produces the card at the time you click the button so that they are not predetermined before the hand and can not be hacked into. This means that if you dwell for 5 seconds you will not get the same card, it is however completely random. Obviously with live poker the deck will not change.

Think its known as an algorythm or something like.
