Hi Alex, great idea for the Oxfam donation.
I've got some questions I'd like to ask.
How many players do you think will get through to day 2?
Why the cap on how many we can pick?
In the event of Unsold horses could you increase the cap?

Thanks

I've asked Simon for an estimation, I would guess 300-400?

It's capped at 5 so everybody can have a chance of entering, I don't want anyone to miss out because Billy bigtime has taken 50 horses. In the event of unsold horses, I could increase the cap, but we won't know how many unsold there will be until the last minute (day 1c will finish a few hours before we'll need to do the draw), so it's easier to just have me and Dubai buying all the rest. If it's clear there's going to be say 450 through to day 2 and we've only sold 200 by day 1a, then I will increase the cap.

Cheers everyone so far.

Thanks Alex, hopefully after the first 2 day 1's there should be a good indication of runners through to day 2 and hopefully not leaving you and Dubai with too much of an evens sweat on when you have to take on half the field between you.
