Had a sick day. Awful start going from 100k to 30k in first level. Then doubled and doubled again to 120k, then lost a pot to cripple me which was worth 2.5x average.
May have value owned myself, but it was still really cold.
I open utg to 2500 at 600/1200 with
, Italian villain 3bets me from mp to 4700 - is fairly active, likes a min 3bet and takes small bet, small bet, big bet lines through the streets, not been to showdown yet. I peel playing about 100k effective, so plenty deep.
, I check he bets 3600, I call. Turn
I check he bets 6700, I call. River
I check he bets 15600 with 72000 behind. I lose to TT (one combo) AKss, AQss (two combos) and maybe a few other Axss hands he's decided to 3bet my utg open with (not vlikely imo). I have a seriously crazy image by the way on this table, got caught in a big bluff, plenty of shoves when I was short, doubled 3b shoving T9hh, so I believed I would vlikely get paid off by an overpair. Unfortunately he had the nut flush.
Got my last 10bigs in shoving the button with KT, both blinds found hands, and they won.
Was a brilliant tournament, tremendous value on every table I played on, really disappointed not to go further. Will be playing more IPTs in the future that's for sure. Thanks for staking.
