Click on the link you've posted. Then you want to select the link for the actual picture/gif you want to post, so right click and properties if you're on a computer or just hold down on the image if you're on a smart phone. Then paste that URL into your message and do the [img] thing around it.

Right. What you've done is post the website where you'd find the gif you want to post. But what you want is the actual webpage for the gif. So, right click on the gif and select Properties. Then there should be a web address for the image itself. This is the...er...niche...gif you were after...

You posted the gifbin/number link which takes you to the page that holds the image. you want the link directly to the image itself, which youd get by going to the page, right clicking and choosing copylink address or copy image url (both should work depends on your browser what you see). then you put that link inbetween the 'img' brackets and away you go. the link looks like this - http://gifs.gifbin.com/082012/1344449529_spiderman_throwing_up_in_slowmotion.gif

Sorry Lee, not given up just yet Think of it this way- each web page has a URL, any images/GIFs on that web page have their own URL, usually an extension of the complete web page URL I.e. http://gifs.gifbin.com (web page URL) http://gifs.gifbin.com/082012/1344449529_spiderman_throwing_up_in_slowmotion.gif (GIF URL) To get the GIF URL you need to right click the image and then select properties. The URL is usually in the middle of the properties box. Hope this helps.
