Julian Thew has now moved to table cambridgealex, which I will be watching

Thew opens the button to 1,200

Alex 4,000 in the blinds

Thew 9,000 on the button

Alex a rueful smile and a fold....

Keith Johnson pauses from eating lasagne long enough to min-raise UTG. UTG raise and stops eating to raise. If Carlsberg did tells...

but as Alex Goulder who calls in the small blind says "you know that we know that you should be strong if you stop eating to raise"

Barrie Evans all in for 9,000 in the big blind

Johnson passes and goes back to his meaty pasta goodness

Goulder "Ha, I knew you were at it"

then he has to consider the shove

As he considers Evans tells him

"I want a call"

Goulder laughs

"is that becauses you have a strong hand or want the double up?"

Goulder knows that Evans knows the lasagne reverse tell indoctrinated in Navarro's book of tells, clearly

Goulder calls with K-Qo

Evans J-10o

"Ha, I was ahead!" says Goulder

Jack on the turn to double Evans up.

Suddenly, Alex is silent. Another cunning plan goes awry.

Break after 7 levels

Only 4 to go. Only 4 to go

If I repeat it often enough it doesn't sound so bad

43 of 70 entries +12 re-entries left

blinds go 400-800 next

Average 49,000

Everyone chasing Matthew Maule with 220,000.....

Immediately after the break

Matthew Maule doubles up Andy King

Maule button raises K9cc and calls the 12,000 King shove

King Aces, flop 8-9-A

Meanwhile Colburn Tomlin shoved a short-stack with A-J, getting multiple callers, possibly for a multitude of reasons

Kenny Prazer with A-6 accounted for him on a 6-2-6 flop

Shola Akindele with 10-10 an unlucky caller but got away without too much damage

Blake with K-9 doubles up Nicholls with 4-4 and he is left very short-stacked
