Did hellmuth win a seat? I saw he got on through the MGM but them only had 15% of himself

i dont know this 100% but my understanding (cant remember who told me either but someone relatively in the know) is that someone won a seat and gave hellmuth a 15% freeroll to play it. in Which case he got a touch under $400k for no exposure which is obv pretty sick. I might be wrong though, likely am here as well.

And you don't know the full account of what Sam had in himself. I heard Matchroom had 50% and Natasha had the other 50%

It was something like when the freeroll got down to the last 8 or so, the players decided that Hellmuth was the best chance they had at winning the One Drop, so they agreed that he would take the seat and they negotiated various %s of him based on their chip stacks.

Wow really. Obv no one in the 8 under 25 who thought hellmuth was tez and that they could do a better job

It's a 48 runner 8 handed comp paying 9 places. Not surprised it was fairly flat up to 3rd. Especially when 1st got 43% of prizepool (which seems high).
