First few questions that spring to mind:

How old are you? (I'd basically never expect anyone under 30 to have this problem)

What computer/laptop do you use? Mouse/Touchpad etc?

What site / sites do you play on?

What games do you play?

How good are you in general with computers?

i probably swim against the tide but the thought of playing any more than 2 or 3 tables at once (especially 20 odd) seems to border on the obsessive side...never forget we all want to win at poker but you will only ever feel good about your game if you can enjoy it...and playing that many tables there can be no enjoyment surely.

don't even go there...leave it to the crazy fools who will tell you they win all the time.

when ever i have seen someone timing out constantly or shoving every big hand they are normally playing lots at once...shove fest.

I learned to mt from watching someone else. made a difference to me!

I say dont panic! you always have more time than you think you do. Fold as soon as you know its a fold and move onto the next one.

If youre playing micros comps and sngs on stars you should think about table ninja. takes away a lot of the legwork. Opens tables for you and even prepares an expected bet size.

Playing lots of tables just takes practice and experience, it is not something that can be taught per se.

The majority of people just learn from gradually adding 1 or 2 tables at a time, but most importantly you should be able make accurate, solid decisions quickly. To be able to do this you have to work on your game and gain experience of common situations.

Everyone has different thresholds and you will eventually reach a point where you simply can't process the information quickly enough to come to the right conclusion.

Without wishing to be offensive, at your age that is going to be more difficult than someone in their late teens/early 20's. The brain simply doesn't work as quickly the older you get. I know some of the younger people on here, would outperfom me in this respect.

There are various software than can help you out here, the most obvious being table ninja. What software do you use?

Yes, cos you're a monster Marc. You've studied, learnt and progressed to get to the level you have achieved and it's all second nature to you. Steve admits to struggling to multi table but willing to have someone help him improve.

If you can start with one of the best all the better so it's good he has your offer.

It was a wee bit ribbing as Steve and I railed each other at times through the MM series.
