Oh no, I never realised that. I knew of him well, hence my comment.

There was a programme on tv a couple of years ago about depression in sportsmen after they retire.

Compelling but very disturbing stuff.

According to Sky this morning, the texts actually included KP's advice to his South African mates about the best way to get Strauss out.

Can't see how he can ever be forgiven for that.

From what I understand, one text said something along the lines of "keep putting it just outside Strauss's off stump" but in a jocular "isn't he rubbish?" kind of way.

Most likely it was a light hearted comment. Just completely inappropriate. Not like this was insider info!
