I did see it from the refs view and can understand why he gave it but it was never ever a red card, how does the ref think that tackle is worse than Larssons ?
If you can understand why he gave it, then that's why he gave it! He didn't have multiple angles. (I have not seen it) Technology, 5 seconds, obv not a red, play on, we fukn live for this shit, complete joke. The pundits saw it as a red though from the commentary. They were wrong as well then, so what ? Is anyone saying it actually was a red card ? If it doesn't happen we win, how is Tiote's tackle worse than Larssons ??

I've seen worse tackles not get a red and it's just one of those that could have gone either way....

I thought the red card was reasonable when I first watched it in real-time.
After a few replays in slow-motion I felt that it was definitely harsh and a yellow at worst.
Who'd be a referee?

Just to burst the bubble of a complete misconception that people have; most people up here think Shearer's a twat, just saying Todays game sums up why I don't waste my life on football on anymore, except Derby games ldo. Complete injustice today.

alan pardew says it was a red card
That's not what he said in his bbcs interview when the guy said most people thought it was harsh so when did he say that ? in the Sky interview after the match he said at first glance he didn't think it was a red but looking at it again he has no complaints somefink like that anyway

I'd still like to know how having one foot on the ground and your other foot clipping someones shin pad resulting in them rolling around like a cheating fukn ***** to get someone sent off is worse than someones foot being high enough to have their stoods going through his chest ?? Explain that to me plz ?

I've watched it about 20 times btw, and I'm not biased enough to not know what's fair and what's not.

I'm actually not that drunk, but I won't post again until tmoro, that isn't a red card. I said myself I could see why the ref give it, that doesn't make it right though, or fair. Ruined a lot of peoples days unfairly.

For those that think it was a red wtf? Don't you think the first foul was on Tiote?
The ref was poor today for most of the game imo.
