What do people think of buying hole in ones at the masters @40 (50pts for each hole in one)

The 16th pin position on sunday makes this a good bet IMO. There have been 7 aces in the last 8 years (I think) but this is only good value if there are >1

Having said all that the chances of >1 are pretty slim so evens for 1 on betfair is where the money is going

One thing about betting on The Masters now is I would wait until the draw is out this afternoon, there looks to be a pretty big weather bias in the forecast for Thursday and Friday at the mo.

I dont know. The forecast for Thursday gives a 40% chance of rain from 10am - 8pm with cloud cover and low humidity all day. I don't think there will be a big scoring bias between the early and late starters that day.

Friday has a 40% chance of rain til 8am then 10% there after. Seems to be a decent winds for most of the day so should dry out pretty quickly. Can't see it being damp enough for long enough to favour the longer hitters especially.

Had to watch this again after the 16th hole was mentioned.

All the drama of Augusta encapsulated in that one shot.

Simply brilliant viewing.

Pretty much left Tiger bomb-proof with Nike after that too which was just as well really..

:)abs magic moment Bookie, was like an advert they would make these days using all kinds of computer graphics. He even judged it well enough to have the Nike tick visible as it dropped. Smiley

Hope that Bobbys weather prediction isn't right as I've already gone EW for a few non-previous winners in the hope that one breaks thru Donald Day Furyk Hass Fowler and Dustin J.

Seem like there is going to be pretty big advantage to early starters on Thursday as far as I can tell... Friday looks fairly consistent throughout the day

deffo looks at the moment that early first day and late 2nd day could be the best draw. The key to the 2nd day could be the overnight rain in the fcast making the course play longer in the morning than the afternoon.
