Rastafish calls a raise from David Gallagher in the blinds and they see a Q-4-3 flop

Rastafish checks, Gallagher 5,000

Rastafish means to call, but drops in 3 5,000 chips by mistake. Which of course goes as a raise

Gallagher shoves

Rasta has to fold

(Gallagher: Kings)

Next hand Michelle Bennett raises to 700 at 150-300

Rastafish calls, visibly tight with himself

Q-4-5 flop, two hearts

Rastafish checks

Bennett 1200 with Q-J and the Q of hearts

Rastafish 3,000

Bennett calls

turn 7 hearts

Rastafish shoves

Bennett, comfortably covering him, calls with top pair and four to the Queen high flush

and holds against 4-8 no hearts to knock Rastafish out

Two limpers, the second of which is Stephen O'Keefe

Alex Goulder makes it 1800

Small blind Dariush Ghaedi and both limpers call

Checked to Goulder who c-bets 2,700

Ghaedi and O'Keefe are the two callers

  turn

Checked to Goulder, who bets 10,300

O'Keefe the only caller

These two are the biggest stacks at the table

At this point O'Keefe has 40,000 behind, Goulder over 50,000

  river

O'Keefe checks

Goulder all in, far end of the picture

Over the course of several minutes deliberations, I think that O'Keefe might call, with his chips in his hand almost over the line

Eventually he passes

"Will you show me the bluff?"

Goulder delcines, and must be close to the chip lead with 90,000+

Vaidas Sirunias doubles through Lydia Cugudda, who is felted

An inevitable coup, Lydia Kings, Vaidas Aces on a 2-3-6 rainbow board...

"Here Tighty Tighty, here here"

The dulcet tones of Baritone Barry Neville beckon me over

"I flopped Quad Nines and got paid, Tighty"

"by what Barry?"

"A straight Tighty, Him Tighty"

He points at a forlorn Shane Dewsbury

Barry, who chopped GPS Birmingham recently in what represented a welcome return of form for him and the Poker Community, is in fine form

Pete Linton has been playing fairy godmother

Shoving hand after hand with a 27,000 stack at 250-500

eventually Jack Allen calls him in the big blind with K-10, covering him

Linton 9-7 off

Q-8-8-2-4

Linton out

As he rises and goes back into tournament retirement he tells me

"I have no patience with tournaments"

Mad Turk, by his side, tells the table

"this is what can happen when you have too much money!"

He flats a four bet pre from Gordon Goodall with Aces

Goodall bets 10,000 on 9-8-2

Goulder flats

J turn

Goodall all in 18,000

Goulder calls and is met by J-J

Goodall doubles up

Goulder back below 50,000
