PokerStars have announced details of Season 10 of the European Poker Tour.
Eight events in total will take place, the biggest changes of which being the London and Sanremo events being moved back to their previous dates of October and April.
“Players at the EPT will see that we have made a deliberate decision to focus on stability,” said EPT President Edgar Stuchly. “During a successful Season 9 where we decided to host fewer and bigger events incorporating the national tours, we listened to an enormous amount of player feedback who valued less time spent travelling, and more time spent playing. Since the Sanremo tournament will be held immediately before the EPT Grand Final in April, it will mean players can spend the whole month of April on the beautiful Riviera.”
PokerStars have also announced that their regional tours, such as UKIPT and the Estrellas Poker Tour, will take continue.
There are also set to be more High Roller events at each stop this season.
EPT Season 10 Event Festival Dates Main Event Start Date
Barcelona 28 August 2013 - 07 September 2013 01 September
London 02 October 2013 - 12 October 2013 06 October

PCA 03 January 2014 - 12 January 2014 05 January 2014
Deauville 22 January 2014 - 01 February 2014 26 January 2014

Hi all,
We have recently announced some big changes to our UKIPT Galway Festival.
This event will now be sponsored by Full Tilt Poker and will become the Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival with the UKIPT Main Event guaranteed at a massive €1,000,000!
The Festival will take place in a custom built Full Tilt Poker Village which is being built solely for this event with 75 tables. Doors will open on July 27th in time for the Galway Races and the Village will close on August 12th.
Highlight include:
27th – 28th July: €135 + 15 with an Estimated €100k Prize pool
29th July – 3rd August – Galway Raceweek Cash Game Festival of Poker
29th – 30th July – UK vs Ireland Heads Up Championship
3rd – 4th August – Irish Bridge Masters
5th – 8th August – Irish Poker Championship
8th – 12th August – UKIPT Galway with a €1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
Needless to say we expect this event to be absolutely massive. Galway is absolutely packed at this time of year with up to 250,000 people attending the Galway Races.
Hotel rooms are at an absolute premium at this time of year but we have have bought rooms throughout the city exclusively for players attending the festival. These can be viewed and purchased via our partners UKIPT Hotels:
http://www.ukipthotels.com/galway/
We are currently in Dublin at the Full Tilt Poker offices finalising the added benefits, schedule and event details and these will be available imminently.
Any questions feel free to post!

Afternoon Jamie,
Will the 'village' be at the course or in town?
Thanks, and best of luck with it all.

The Full Tilt Poker Village will be located next to Galway Docks in Galway City centre.
It is the same site as used for the Volvo Ocean Race recently. The racecourse is 2km outside of town.
Edit: Hi BTW

Was in casino Marbella for GSOP and they absolutely refused to let anyone in with shorts and flip flops. Is this still the case for UKIPT or are the rules being relaxed for the week?
Also, the casino dealers there were awful, some of the worst I've ever seen. Completely unable to make change. Will you be using them or bringing in the normal UKIPT dealers?

They are a joke, had a ridic hand were I was in a pot with 2 Spaniards, me and, lets call him Spaniard 1 folds and then says to Spaniard 2 I want to see what you had, Spaniard 2 says to the dealer ok show him but only him, they knew each other, Spaniard 1 is in seat 1, coincidentally, and the dealer peels up the cards so he can see so I say you have to show the whole table now, the dealer says no and puts them in the deck, WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK, so I kick off and get the TD over who's saying "no comprende, no comprende", std ldo. So I tell the English guy who's at the table and speaks Spanish and agrees with me, ofc, to tell the TD what happened, the TD didn't give a shit and says deal the next hand nothing's wrong. I had to walk away from the table I was that tilted, cheating twats.
This wonderful TD also ruled that it was fine that someone had to be the BB two hands in a row, abs rofl punting jokers.

The casino are supplying the dealers. I will ensure that your feedback is passed on and will discuss the quality of dealers with the casino on our next call.
Toby Stone will be the Tournament Director as with all UKIPTs and he will also have his regular senior floor at the event.
Cheers,
Jamie

Hi all,
The first Season 4 UKIPT Event Main Event kicks of on Wednesday with the UKIPT trying something new and going on holiday to Marbella!
We have already smashed the €500,000 guarantee with well over 500 players pre-registered but there is still time to win a last chance seat on PokerStars with 20 Seats Guaranteed tonight and tomorrow.
The official hotel is completely sold out but our Spanish hotel partner still has rooms available at alternative hotels:
http://www.estrellaspokertourhotels.com/city.asp?id=6&idc=138&marbella
I had a brief look at Sky Scanner and flights to Malaga from the UK are still available at around £200.
Our official planned activities can be viewed below
including party and after party info

Hi all,
UKIPT Marbella Day 1A is now SOLD OUT with over 350 players registered for 1A.
We are working with the casino to increase capacity but cannot guarantee this at this stage.
There is still extremely limited availability for Day 1B but we do advise you secure you seat at the earliest opportunity.
Hope to see some regulars at the welcome drinks tonight from 21:30!
Many thanks,
Jamie
