Driving is fine - but flats 2 mins from station, no congestion charging and tbh it so much easier. Specially early days - last train is 1.40am from Euston, and first one is 5.40am

Alternatively pay Vinny to be your chauffeur, that's what I do indirectly as it's the only return I ever get from staking him Smiley

Confirmed Vinny will chauffeur for a nandos.......what you up to tonight V-man? Wink

Confirmed. Will work for food. Have a nice honda smooze mobile that I've been tearing around the country in, will even wear one of Shaun's nice hats to give that authentic chauffeur feel. Well, gay chauffeur feel.

Hi,

Structures are pretty much standardised for EPTs and are available via the following link:

http://www.europeanpokertour.com/tournaments/side-events/

I got to the Vic at 11.30 today to have the car park closed.  I was given a discount ticket to the NCP across the road (£5 for 12 hours).  As the tournie lasted longer than 12 hours the total cost was £10.

If you haven't been registered for a PS Live card before, then you need to do this and make sure you bring photo ID.  Thankfully I'd already got a PS Live card, as I had none on me.

The day finished at around 1am.

The tournie started on the gaming floor and the card room, with the card room tables being broken to make way for cash.  The gaming floor tables were very very cramped and a table neighbour was waiting over an hour for a drink of water.  I'd advise getting a couple of bottles before hand.

But yeah usual very well run event from the team at the Vic and Stars.  Seems that a fairly large European player base have made their way over for this event.  Made day 2 with 100k Smiley

IMPORTANT

Hi all,

It is vital that ALL players bring ID if you wish to play any event at UKIPT/EPT.

This still applies even if you are already a member of The Vic as we are operating PS Live here and players require ID to sign up to the PS Live system and register into live events.

Many thanks,

Jamie

So unable to be in London today due to work, son cannot buy me in because I will not be there and beurocracy surrounding PS live cards. Less dead money in the prize pool. When did poker become like applying for a passport and a Visa to North Korea ?
