Ben Dobson recently returned from a long poker playing sojourn in Macau, after his big French Poker Series victory last year
Clearly the quality of fake tan in Macau is not what it is reputed to be though
all he does is holiday, he's been skiing inbetween hence the google tan!

Late entry closes
123 in today
99 last night
278 needed tomorrow to hit the £150,000 GTD
Thoughts?
The 10 seat GTD Live sat tonight only had 66 for 10 seats and change, which was a touch unexpected by me and a trifle worrying for tomorrow.....

A rather happier jjandellis
Down to 8,000 when he moved tables, now up to 80,000
Two double ups then eliminated Martyn Frey with AK v 66
Frey, Deepstack winner in January, kept being 3 bet off hands pre-flop, was so again and took a stand all in pre in a 50,000 pot

Ian Gascoigne down to 10,000 at 400-800 losing a race with 10-10 v A-Q to double up a slightly shorter stack than him, all in pre flop. Ace on the river
--
Ricky Cross has doubled to 32,000 with Q-J on 7-10-9-J-8, called on the river when he shoved by someone hoping for the chop....

Voluble and splashy chip getter Stephen Ayres
Now moved to table Goulder/Ambler.
Probably not the worst news for Alex and Tom....

Stephen Ayres min raises in mid position
Alex Goulder 3 bets the button with 8-9 suited
call
J-8-2 flop
check check
3 turn
Ayres 4,800
Goulder calls
9 river (bringing a back door flush)
Ayres 11,000
Goulder 24,000
Ayres 60,000
Goulder calls all in
Ayres 8-3o
Goulder 8-9
Goulder doubles to over 130,000 and probably chip leader again

A round with Stato.
He kindly wrote it all down for me. Therefore he is the crukcx of this post. I am merely copying what he wrote
blinds 500-1000
Kenny Prazer 25,000
Tony Millan 17,000
Steven Chennells 40,000
Jack Allen 25,000
Stuart Fox 35,000
Paul Jenkinson 60,000
Joe Latimer 10,000
Marcin Milde 50,000
Vinodh Jayaraman 40,000
Hand 1 button seat 7
Millan raises to 2,000
Allen 3 bets to 4,600
Millan calls
check
Allen 3,800
Millan folds
Hand 2 button seat 8
Milde to 2300
Prazer calls
check
Milde 2700
Prazer folds
Hand 3 button seat 9
Fox raises to 2,200
All fold
Hand 4 button seat 1
Fox 2,300
Milde 4,800
Milde seems to be in control, chipping up nicely and owns a lot of the ante chips. I can't belive I didn't know how to spell crux. I am an Octochamp ffs
Hand 5 button seat 2
Peejay 2,000
All fold
I like Peejay's hat. Wonder if it would suit me. In a bigger size obviously
Hand 6 button seat 3
News arrives of a huge Goulder double up. He'll be even more insufferable now. At least we don't have a piano in the house.
Peejay 2,000. All fold
Peejay gets moved table
Going to miss his boyish good looks
Hand 7 button seat 4
Millan 2,200
Latimer all in, in need of a double up
All fold
Hand 8 button seat 5
Millan all in
Vinodh tanks
Millan says "Fold, Barry Neville is behind me"
Barry doesn't scare me, anyway. Though he would probably finish a Toby Carvery. I couldn't earlier
Undeterred by Barry's menacing presence, Vindoh calls
Millan 10-10
Vinodh A-Kss
Nice tank sir
Board runs out 9 high and Millan thinks he has doubled but doesn't realise he has been backdoor flushed and is out
He isn't celebrating now
