Hi.

I'm a Derby and Nott's fan and I used to go to both the county ground and Trent bridge quite regularly until family commitments took over.  Very pleased that Derbyshire won promotion last year. Very much an unfashionable county with limited resources.  Staying up in Div 1 will be as much of an achievement as getting there last year.  Nott's have enjoyed some good success and I expect them to lift some silverware this season providing they keep there bowlers fit.  I also play locally and have played with and against some first class players including John Birch who used to play for Nott's a few years back now. I know this is off the subject but we are looking for players again this year so if you fancy donning some whites let me know Smiley

Got an offer on to go watch Notts v sussex for £1 in a T40 game next friday. Have just messaged a couple of mates so see if they are up for it (they not fussed about cricket but might come for the ale and a night in Notts). If anyone wants to go an meet for a beer let me know, I'll come and meet you for a few even if my mates can't  Smiley

Yorkshire won the toss on a good pitch in nice conditions

Got a score they should have got

By the time Middlesex bat the light is bad, the rain comes and goes and the ball is swinging in overcast conditions

Not rocket science, and not indicative of a bad side, any more than Yorkshire were a bad side when they got stuffed in a game early on

Both are decent sides

Just that bit of luck a side needs with weather and the toss which evens up over the course of a season

Aye that's what I thought. Yorkshire got hammered first game of the season and pretty much should have won virtually every game since. Not too bad considering that England have rooooooot Smiley

When I saw Middlesex last week they looked to lack edge - totally let Sussex off the hook in a game they should have won.

Hales is woefully out of form and assume he is high price in fantasy, Pettini is crap

Tremlett won't play T20 much, save him for LVCC. Solanki, meh in T20 these days

Andrew, Mustard, Plunkett likely to be good value for money

Good luck.

Thanks.

Hales is indeed out of form but dirt cheap!

Tremlett only in as its a small budget. Anyone else playing? Telegraph site, £10 for four teams.

Good to see KP in the runs. Not that we need much help in the ashes. But would be nice to have him in the runs!
