Playing the 1/1 game at Aspers Stratford yesterday and it goes like this. I raise and call his 3bet. Flop comes A J 6. He C bets and we get it all in. I insta turn over my set of J's. He pulls a funny face, as though he's beat.Turn and river are blanks. He then decides to flip over his cards, AA obvs. Now i was pretty disgusted at this and told him so(didn't use any profane language though). Something along the lines of 'just flip 'em over straight away,no need to slow roll me there. That's pretty disgusting play'. Inside, I wanted to go round and free style on him, kicks, punches and spinning back fists but it's only a game of cards, so a few words seems more appropriate. Would anyone else have been annoyed at this or am i just being a bellend and should shut up and reload.
Isn't there a chance he felt bad for having coolering you this hard, but also has a policy never to turn over his hand until the river?
Not to say that slowrolls don't annoy me. They really, really do. I can lose a huge pot to a terrible beat and not blink an eye but getting slowrolled in a £50 pot has me fuming.
