They were all-in preflop as far as i can tell:

Ram Had king-queen and his danish opponent had ace-jack.

A queen came on the flop but the dane caught a straight on the river!

bobby - it may as well be... but Julian just bought us drinks so we're OK for now...

Mads Andersen is on the absolute rampage now - just took out two players in three hands (we're down to 14).  He has a mountain of chips, I reckon around 500,000.  The last victim was Per Anderson (that's what I heard from the announcer - it's too crowded to see what's going on) who was all-in with  against Mads'
The board came  and they're having to move another poor player onto the table of doom.

Quote from Julian about helping to chip up Mads:  "What have I done?"

Mads Andersen is a former backgammon world Champion - won the title in 2002. A lot of the stong danish poker players originally started in backgammon - most notably Gustav Hansen (who was known as Gustav Jacobsen back then), Lars Bønding and Mads Andersen.

I can't tell you how difficult it is to report on this event. The rail is jam packed and there is literally no room being offered to the press.

Chip stacks are ridiculously large so chip counts are complete guesswork.

The following names are still in:

Xuyen Pham
Anina Gundesen (shirt on stand by)
Mads Andersen
Marc Naalden
Shek Chi Hung
Christer Johanssen

Managed to get a couple of chip counts whilst players are on a brief break.

Xuyen Pham = 223k
Mads Anderssen = 580k
