Is he in the top 5 best footballers in the world currently? And if so could he seriously be considering another year without champions league football?
He's 23, just had a baby (whose initials are AVB..!) and isn't going to be a bad footballer this time next year.
For me, he is the third best footballer in the world and I have no doubt he will go in a year's time, like luka modric did, if we fail again. I just hope he stays another year, signs a big contract and we can get good value from an incredible player.
Too i guess its not like Spurs are a mid table outfit. He could well be the key for you guys having the chance to break the top 4 again. Like you said you probably need a really dominant striker to help in that.
