Philly are in the weakest division of the NFC and have a softish schedule.

I may be jumping way ahead of myself, but home field advantage can't be discounted.

I'd definitely take 33/1 right now.

Everyone seems to have taken the market down, but BetVictor's prices remain up @ 28/1.

Maybe I'm totally over reacting.

Washington have played terribly

But it's not just the offense, Philly's defense looks amazing. Trent Cole looks like an all pro.

I'd like to hear other opinions, but the Eagles remind me somewhat of the Rams when they went all the way having been 200/1 pre season

Still Michael Vick though isn't he?

He's definitely capable of playing at an elite level.

Remember his first season in Philly?

He looks energised by the arrival of Kelly.

And McCoy looks like Marshall Faulk.

They've misfired a bit on offense too, once they are fully in stride, I can't envisage anyone stopping them.

I would be surprised if they were bigger than about 20-1 in the morning and, I suppose that might be worth a punt.  I would be interested in the price for their division.  Anything bigger than 11-4 is a decent bet i think as the rest of the division is awful as you say.  Washington will get better though I think.

Boylesports currently offer 7/2 for them to win AFC East.

Griffin is clutching his knee all the time.

Not sure if its just psychological or if he's feeling something, but comms have hardly mentioned it and I've seen him doing it about 5 times.

That'll be a palp and probably an acct closer if you back that.

Can't be that much of a palp if Stu thought they were a bet at "above 11/4", surely?

Yeah but this is a firm that closes your account for backing a winner in a live premiership football match with your first bet!!!

Is Vick not a little inconsistent? He isn't that 1,000 rushing yards chap at the Falcons anymore...or is he?

The trouble with Vick is that he tends to pick up injuries, and wont last the season.

The O deffo looked superb but I thought it was too open to keep Vick safe for a full season (cannot see how that can run with Nick Foles at QB either) and I fear that McCoy will need to be superman to go thru that kind of workload without breaking down/getting hurt.

Was superb to watch tho.

I almost feel sorry for Tom Brady.

This is a shadow of the Patriots teams we've seen for the previous decade of his career.

And yet they're still 2-0 despite two terrible performances.

They have an incredible ability to do just enough, more than any other team I can think of at the moment.  I'd have said the Steelers until last season, but they seem to have lost the ability since then.

It's Bellichek & Brady, isn't it? That ability to grind out a W. ManUnited-Pats comparison again.

Didn't Favre used to be like that: just found a way to win a game when his team didn't seem to deserve it?

watched the game last...had the Jets +12 and +15.5 in running....Bradys weapons are not as reliable as last/past seasons and I wonder if the bookies will still be deluded that they are a 35 point a game offense..be interesting on the spreads and over and under in the next couple of games..jets rookie qb was holding the ball far too long and with a deese defence i like the unders in games there involved in
