I was going to say this as well but thought it may seem a liitle off (in terms of all the effort was about getting runners etc) - glad you did.  I will leave the £60 if DTD / Robs charity as well.  Thanks guys.

not sure i get the logic here

if there were 100 runners with 15k each, 10 would get thru with an average of 150k

if there were 200 runners with 15k each, 20 would get thru with an average of 150k

if there are 1500 runners, with 15k each, 150 would get thru with an average of, you guessed it, 150k

obviously there WILL be some big stacks, and some very short ones, but the average chip stack will be 150k, the same as the other flights, give or take a few hundred chips for numbers being rounded down

what am i missing???

It is more likely that a big stack will come from a leg with more runners (I think)

Yes the average will always be 150K ish but...

If you had 10 runners. You would only be able to get 150K chips.
If you have 100 runners. It would be possible (although unlikely) to get closer to 500K chips (10 players through with one player having a 1/3 of the chips
If you have 1000 runners. There would now be 15 million chips in play with 100 players going through now if someone ends up with 10% of the chips in play now they will have 1.5 million chips. Again unlikely yes but more possible due to more chips being in play allso in these things you tend to get a lot of people "hanging on" for day 2. Therefore if you have a high % of small stacks it gives a big possibility for some huge stacks.

In my opinion the advantage of going into day two on 250K or 1 million is not HUGE. It is big but definiatly not overturnable. If you are on a table full of sit outs with 100K youll very quickly have 1 million
