Thanks to our friends at Dusk Till Dawn for putting these on!

We have arrived in Galway and set up is well under way. For those who aren't aware, we are building a custom made Full Tilt Poker Village in the heart of Galway with a 75 table capacity. The Village will be open throughout the Galway Races (one of Europe's largest racing festivals) with the UKIPT €1 Million Guaranteed Main Event following on from this. Doors will be open from the 27th July to the 12th August.

Highlights Include:

    * Full Tilt Poker have confirmed that both Gus Hansen will Victor Blom will be attending the event.
    * Cash games available on demand throughout the festival
    * 27th – 28th July: €135 + 15 with an estimated €100,000 prize pool
    * 29th July – 3rd August: Galway Raceweek Festival of Poker
    * 29th – 30th July: UK vs Ireland Heads-Up Championship
    * 3rd – 4th August: Irish Bridge Masters
    * 5th – 8th August: Irish Poker Championship
    * 8th – 12th August: UKIPT Galway with a €1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
    * UKIPT High Roller (€2,200) and Super High Roller (€10,300)

We have 60 events scheduled throughout the festival:

Information about Galway:

Any questions please let me know!

Jamie

Hi Jamie or DTD staff

If anybody was to win a seat through DTD and cashes how will any winnings be paid out ?

I ask because historically in Ireland with any pokerstars events you have had to take the majority of your winnings paid directly into your pokerstars account  but obv with this event its sponsored by Full Tilt

Thanks in Advance

Is there any sign of an I poker app yet?

Not yet I'm afraid Sad

They're working on an iPad version as we speak, we have been told later in the year is the release date.

Have you got access to a PC in the meantime?

Hi Fraser,

If you win your seat via Dusk Till Dawn then you may receive a maximum of €10,000 in cash on-site and any amount over this you can choose between a bank wire or a credit back to your PokerStars account.

Many thanks,

Jamie

No Airport in Galway so  you fly either to Knock or Shannon...both an hour away by taxi (pretty expensive unless sharing )

Hi,

We have the free Full Tilt Poker bus from Dublin Airport direct to Galway.

Wednesday 7th 18.30 Coach bay Dublin airport terminal 1 Direct to Radisson / G hotel & Meryick
