Wow! I wondered if that was you Ruth!

Sdly, I heard yesterday that poor Heid has still not had the chip set she won back in November, due to some cock-up at the suppliers end, but I have got The Wormster on the case, & I am sure both of you will soon have your chip sets.

Well done!

Phil Peters is a facinating bloke

Work and Phil decided they didn't like each other many years ago, since then he has made a living from gambling in one form or another

He is now very big in spread betting, Channel 4 made a documentry about him a while ago called 'Red lorry yellow lorry' it's repeated occaisionaly

On the first day of filming he was still in bed when the crew arrived, so he did the show unwashed, unshaven, and in his dressing gown, they thought he was an eccentric crackpot, so he did the same every day for a week

The problem was, he did his bollox, didn't win a bet the entire week they were there, wich did nothing to dispel the illusion

Phil is actually very successful, a true gent, and a very funny man

Spot on Red. And Phil would be disappointed if I did not give him a dig in the ribs at every opportunity.

I wasn't sure if it was intended or not.

That's the wittiest thing you've said for weeks.  Cheesy
