the three people voluntarily choosing Glen Johnson...

stand in the corner, and await world cup doom....

felt like nobody would pick him because he's absolutely tez. if this moran costs me all the gold here I'll be furious. Although I suspect my answer to World in Motion will do that Wink

Haha!
Good job no one noticed that my previous correct answer was only because if you looked really closely it says Italia on the badge.

7. The greatest World Cup song of all time is "World in Motion" by New Order (1990). Name someone who appeared on the track, vocally.

you could have had

any member of new order...no one put a member of new order

keith allen, who co-wrote it

kenneth wolstenholme the commentator

now i started off thinking only some of the squad sang on it

indeed the notes on the sleeve say Barnes, Beardsley, Gascoigne, Waddle, Steve McMahon and Des Walker as provide vocals, though the entire squad is seen miming to the refrain in the video

however the sleeve also credits the "squad" for chorus and refrain, so on that basis i had to allow those footballers not named above

so

answers given

5   barnes   claw75
      mondatoo
      tomsom1987
      kp24
      redsgirl

2   beardsley   arbboy
      dung beetle

2   wolstenholme   newportlad
      kinboshi

2   gascoigne   verndog
      mulhuzz

2   des walker   ironside
      redsimon

aces   mcmahon   longines
   shilton   mintrav
   keith allen   david3013

0   pass   ant040489
      rubbish2407
      milidonk
      scotty2hatty
      yian
      dwh103
      glenndtd
      waz1892
      mark porter
      dino1980
      graham c
      stribling
      bulldozerd

a very disappointing number of passes

extra kudos to david3103, keith allen was the sort of answer i envisaged from the lateral
