Who am i?
I'm a professional poker player from Peterborough playing a mixture of online MTTs ($20-$215), live MTTs generally between 1-5k buy-in. I also play 100NL 6-max zoom cash on pokerstars, and live cash games up to £5/£10.

For recent online results check my pocketfives profile here: http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/gizzleduur/

For live scores find my hendon mob here: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=85459

Why buy?
I have put in serious volume online this year. My sharkscope results speaks themselves, winning on every site I play on.
I have a number of regular backers who will happily provide recommendations on how quickly I sort out finance returns etc.

Profitchop? Stakeback?
The 90%/10% essentially means backers take 90% of all profits after 'stakeback.'
Stakeback means backers receive all returns below an overall profit on the pack, you get all your investment back if I cash exactly $2,455. Anything extra is split 90/10 in buyers favour. Smiley

not flaming , genuinely don't understand

"The 90%/10% essentially means backers take 90% of all profits after 'stake back. "

apologies if I'm reading this incorrectly ......  you're playing for 10 %  ? and  the stakers get 90 % ?

If that's correct surely its not a big enough incentive for you to grind ?

Also what the calculations for $2455 = all of stake back and do you need to sell out the whole 90 or 100 %

Thanks

This deal roughly works out the same as selling at 1.1
Yes I need to sell the whole 100%, that won't be an issue.
Yes I am playing for 10%, but I don't have to put up my own money, given the variance of SCOOP MTTs, I still stand to have a good lifetime hourly playing this way, risk free.

I don't mean to flame here, and I wouldn't post if the thread hadn't sold out, but surely this is not a good use of your time unless you're completely skint which obv your not.

There's 6 days in the schedule of an avg 8 hours per day (scoop days famously long, could be more) = 48 hours average total playing time.

$2790 package, playing for 10% = $279. Say you have a 50% ROI, you'll earn $139.50 over the whole series, which over 48 hours is <$3/hour. Even if it was 100%, <$6/hour...

These are not the only comps I'll be grinding at the time though, I will still be playing my regular eurosite schedule on the side.
The variance on SCOOP fields is so high, however, that I'm opting to sell this way. If people assume I'm going to punt off just because I only take 10% of profits then they don't know me well enough or understand my desire to achieve.

Yeh if you've got a normal schedule going on then that makes more sense.

My point wasn't about punting off cos you only had 10%, it was just making the point that your hourly is minuscule in this schedule.

Fair play to you. Wouldn't it be more profitable to skip the mids and grind the lows on own dime? (Not flaming btw)
