.....and he takes his team tomorrow night to the Britannia for a Capital  One Cup tie against the mighty potters.

Can he hold it together on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke?......that IS the question.

Mourinho charged with misconduct over his behaviour during the West Ham game.

Not picking Jose was a huge mistake imo.

His appeal for his previous misconduct affair has not been heard yet, & now he's in line for another.

He is said to have verbally abused the referee on Saturday with an upgraded Wenger jibs - "you are fucking soft" & refused to leave the Referee's room when ordered to.

Precedent suggests a 5 or 6 game touchline ban at the very least.

The clouds are gathering over Jose-ville.

I genuinely hope he survives all this, it adds a little spice to the back pages. He needs to pull his neck in though, show just a bit of that humility stuff.

I had it in my head from somewhere that Fergie & Mourinho weren't that close. Perhaps United shied away from Mourinho because of his disciplinary record. Hadn't he recently been cited for a scuffle back then?

"Jose Mourinho has tried every trick in his book to turn Chelsea around, now he must adapt or die

Beleagured Chelsea manager must try a different approach and cut out the negativity if he is to avoid a predictable fate at Stamford Bridge"

an interesting read

Ferguson said in the recent program he did on BBC that there was no hope of convincing Mourinho to go to Man U instead of back to Chelsea.

Definitely they are friends, pretty close it would seem.

Story I heard was that Bobby Charlton was vehemently opposed to Mourinho going anywhere near OT because of all the baggage that goes with him.

I don't have much time for the Premier League to be honest.....I'm fed up with just about all of it from gate prices to overpaid footballers (including the football league) but I like the fact that the game has it's characters, and I love Mourinho and all that he brings.

The league only has Wenger and Mourinho that I can instantly think of for something different.

Fergie has gone, even Pearson has gone, and he was definitely worth tuning in for.

But I have to say, that some of the stuff Mourinho is coming out with is laughable.

I'm starting to think that maybe Jose's right and there is a campaign.

Stoke were awarded five penalties last night.

For true football fans....

Once upon a time on a cold, wet and windy Tuesday night in Stoke.....

Ten men went to mow, went to mow a meadow. Ten men and their dog, spot (penalty), went to mow a meadow.
