Warrington are on the box in half an hour.  They've lost their opening two games, although by all accounts they were unlucky in their second match.  Hull are the opposition tonight.

There is 1.4 available for Warrington with 14.5 points start on the handicap.  A little bit short but I don't see Hull beating them by 15.  From scratch they are 2.84, much better value, as on their day they can beat anybody.  I've taken 2.84 to make up for the Salford pain.

Warrington 18 - 24 Hull at H/T

Warrington with the wind behind them in the 2nd half.  Hull have done a lot of tackling and could get tired late on.

Yes, I'm grasping at straws Smiley

I didn't see it Acid but it doesn't surprise me.  Saints have been like that for years now.  They are not always outright dirty, they often do the niggly things that the refs don't notice to wind opponents up, knees in the tackle, hand in face, etc.

They'll get the slapping they deserve at Warrington this coming weekend.

Two of them up for bad conduct charges after the Leeds game, pity the ref was so crap he missed it.

Warrington, with +8.5 on the handicap, are just a shade odds-on to beat Saints tonight.

St Helens team news is not great in the forwards.  Sculthorpe is banned, as is James Graham.  Fozzard is out injured.
Warrington are without Reardon but are almost full strength beyond that.

In the three meetings between both clubs last season, Saints won two of them by under 3 points, stealing victory with the last play of the game in both cases.  Warrington, quite simply, never beat Saints.  However, 8.5 points is enough for a "mini lump on" for me.

It's been a while but there's more boot filling fun on Monday for those of you who like money.

Warrington took another beating from Salford on Friday but travel to crappy Cas for this one.  Cas get 4.5 start on BF where Warrington are 1.75.  Better, I think, is the 6 points Cas are given on Hills with Warrington at 10/11.  Warrington by 14 - 18 I think.  Lump on!

Step down a few divisions to League 2 - London Skolars take on Swinton.  Skolars have played two and let in over 50 points on average per game.  Swinton are running hot early on and should pile on the points.  Skolars get 16.5 on the BF handicap, better is 16 from Littlewoods Bet Direct and 10/11 for Swinton.

Swinton did beat Skolars but only by 14.  Two missed kicks (4 points) spoiling the bet.

Warrington are currently beating Castlesford 6 - 28 at H/T.  The lump is looking healthy so far.  Bookmakers shortened Warrington to 8/11 for -6 today.

dont river me dont river me dont river me don't go to sleep in the 2nd half Warrington.

More boot filling fun for superleague fans (me) tonight:

Wakefield travel to Salford for the 8pm kick-off.  Salford are punching well above their weight but have suffered quite a few injuries to key players before this game.  Wakefield are generally poor and will need to find something extra to win this one.  That said, the outright market is terrible.  So, I'm going for Wakey at +10.5 on the handicap at a shade odds-on.
