i called holiday inn , they quoted 156 for 2 nights on sat 12.8.17 and 13.8.17

with code dtd it is reduced to 154 for 2 nights

obviously i am not expecting you to do do all the leg work for me, i will be calling every hotel i can find in nottingham in next hour, however if you can find anything considerably cheaper i would beextremely grateful.

would love to come and have a bash at this, (only ever played live twice), but if hotels and train fares are going to be north of 200ish, i may well have to give it a miss.

An entire 14 seconds on Booking.com shows the St James hotel for £77 for those two nights. I've only been in the reception / bar area but from I've been told it's not the worst place in the world. It's about £8 in a cab from DTD which is probably about a quid more then the holiday inn. It's city centre as well so plenty to do when you're not in the card room. Holiday inn is in a crap location unless you want a big Mac.

If you have 14 seconds spare that may be time better spent than ringing round.
