The interview team are hard at work now, but here's a sneaky shot of them all with fish and chips earlier!  They only ordered it because I had some, you know.

The final table is miles away from where we're stationed, right across the other side of the casino.

Jen's over there waiting for a bit of action to report.

Watch this space.

Julian and RED-DOG both running well and on for tasty pay-day.

Other news...

Chili is tipsy. glug glug

Just to keep you busy whilst I await Jen's return...

here's Julian looking, as he said, 'slightly poncey'.

I see a bit of Julian Clarey in him.

Hold back Kev... please.

Martin Kavanagh, from Wales, was all-in with A-7 v Akenhead's 9-9.

Martin survived to double through.

James Akenhead is the 6th place finisher -- winning £1,920

Once again, Julian is the killing machine.

Akenhead raised 20k on the button, Julian flatcalled on the bigblind.

Both players hit a promising hand with the flop showing

All the chips go in with Julian holding against Akenhead's

Turn and river were the blankiest of blanks -- Two Diamonds

Just previous to that exit, Akenhead was unlucky against Aris.

Aris =

Akenhead =

Flop =   two spades

Turn =

River = three diamonds

Ouch!

Like a firm kick in the testicles.
