Hello. It's been a while Smiley

What is people line when deciding to fire multiple bullets in PKO comps?

Is there a correct cut off in terms of bb's? level? how many players have busted and thus how much of the prize pool has been already removed?

I used to be pretty bad and fire again or even late reg with 25 bigs. Can't be good? Some ppl re-enter or even late reg with like 10-15 bigs lol

I'm starting to think it's not worth it at all unless you bust in like the first level of two. What do you think?

It does make me wonder why he didn't just ask the question on social media though  Kiss

Rearrange these words into a familiar phrase or saying. (Well not everyone will be familiar with it but you're bound to be)

OFF RIGHT FUCK.

Anyhoo....

I used to be in the 'no re entries after level two, long clocks, full ring, 25/50. 50/100. 75/150 levels and small antes' club. I've changed though, nowadays I'm into turbo, shot clock, six max kinda stuff.

Seriously though, I think there can be value buying back in for ~ 20 bigs. That's my comfort zone anyway. It's only one double up and you're batting.

Doesn't the size(%age-wise)of the bountays* enter calculations?

I will re-enter a normal o8 tournament right down to 10 bbs.   Hold'em a bit more.  Knockouts I suspect the answer should be only very early.   Those with more chips have such a good position in these.   Maybe if it is a slow paced tournament it is different.

I am trying to cut down on rejoining in these but sometimes I forget which one is the knockout and sometimes I do stupid things that cost me money way too much in poker.  I am a bit more succesful with avoiding late joining them.

Yeah you need to stop re-entering way before you would in a regular tournament. As you say, money has left the prizepool, you will be below average stack, and also the rake is higher in these on stars.

Just because all the regs are doing it doesn't mean it isn't a terrible idea.

i am against entering a PKO after level 1 or 2 due to the factors mentioned a portion of prize pool has already been awarded and your stack size makes you an easy target for bounty hunters who have already built a stack

Me & Osman Mistanglu.

Thistle Classic. Glasgow Berkeley casino, Sauchiehall St.

2005.

I swapped 10% with Osman. He bust early doors, I finished second.  Angry

I got heads up against a really inexperienced player, he had something like a 10/1 chip lead so I just pushed every hand. Instead of calling me with any two he kept passing until we were on level terms. I should have slowed down at that point but I found AK and pushed again, he picked up A5 and having got tired of passing, called. That was all she wrote.
